Radlje ob Dravi

Radlje ob Dravi has been known as a settlement since Roman times and was first mentioned as a clustered village in 1161 and later as a market town in 1268. This town by the Drava is renowned for its hospitality, sustainability, and not least, its excellent beer and local apple juice. 

It's the only municipality in Koroška to proudly hold the Slovenia Green Destination – Gold certificate, a testament to its care for nature and commitment to maintaining the connection between people and the environment. Here you will also find Slovenia’s first natural swimming pool – the Radlje ob Dravi Water Park. With its natural lake just a stone’s throw from the centre, it attracts both locals and international visitors. Campervans are welcome, and the pool also boasts the prestigious Blue Flag award. 

Since large amounts of hops are grown in the surrounding area, the location of the brewery nearby is not only practical but also logical. Let your taste buds explore the diverse flavours of craft beers, while the youngest visitors can enjoy delicious locally produced apple juice. 

A special feature of Radlje is the Pahernik Forests, a unique example of sustainable forestry where the legacy of careful forest management has been preserved for generations.
