Mountain Climbing

On the north walls of Mt. Raduha, a 2062m high mountain in the Savinja Alps, numerous Slovene mountain climbers have gained experience. Mt. Raduha attracts climbers in the summer as well as in the winter. It also has several attractive monolithic rocks, which often manage to persuade boulder climbers to go to the mountains.

 There are some long sport climbing and mountain routes on the walls of the nearby Mt. Peca, a 2125m high mountain in the Karavanke range. The south wall allows climbing in the early spring and in the late autumn. The area is suitable for experienced climbers: many routes are rated as demanding.
