Mislinja

Mislinja is a place in the heart of nature, offering visitors an excellent starting point for hiking and cycling. From the highest peak of Pohorje (Črni Vrh, 1543 m), to the highest point of the Štrekna cycling route, and even to the unique karst cave Huda Luknja – Mislinja truly offers a diverse range of experiences. 

Kope is the largest mountain tourist resort in Koroška, where guests can choose between various hotels and apartments. It is attractive all year round – from excellent skiing and wellness in winter to a wide variety of activities throughout the year. We’ll recharge our energy at the energy points on top of Pungart, while for the more daring there are several downhill biking trails, with chairlifts taking you back up. Pohorje, as part of the Natura 2000 area, represents a unique green gem, where easy trekking paths lead across rolling hills to attractive mountain lakes and wide meadows. 

In the town centre you can find a lovely park called Zois Park with trees which are over 250 years old - the park has been open since the late 18th centuryThe birthplace of the renowned artist Jože Tisnikar is located in the centre, with an exhibition dedicated to his works. 

The Štrekna cycling route reaches its highest point here and then descends through several tunnels and bridges along the tracks of the former Austro-Hungarian railway. In the idyllic gorge of Huda Luknja, away from traffic, you can explore this popular cycling path. In the summer months, a bike bus also takes care of your comfort.
