Črna na Koroškem Ethnological Collection

Tools and items reflect the stories about the life, work and residential culture of the people from Črna and the surrounding farms.

The former post office facility houses the Ethnological Collection focusing on the life, work and residential culture of the people from Črna and its surrounding farms from the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.

The collection of 230 exhibits was first set up in 1978 within the scope of the 23rd Tourism Week in Črna. It comprises items from the everyday use, different elements of interior design (chest, clocks, kitchenware, etc.) and various tools, all equipped with old photographs and their magnified views.
