You can experience an unforgettable 5-kilometre adventure on two wheels by cycling through Mount Peca, from one valley to another.

Mountain bikes were designed to enjoy mountains, while in the Koroška region you can cycle directly through the mountain as well. What do you say to taking a ride from one valley to another, several hundred metres under the Peca peak, using the abandoned and mysterious mining tunnels?

After the reception at the Peca Underground and the Karavanke Geopark Information Centre at Glančnik in Mežica, you will head out to the mine entrance at Igrčevo above Črna na Koroškem in the company of a guide. The bikes are available for rent, of course. And then the adventure really begins! All you have to do is put a lamp on your helmet. This unique subterranean cycling path of more than five kilometres is set up in the safe tunnels of the abandoned mine and ascends only 15 metres. After exiting the mine at Breg above Mežica, you only need to descend a kilometre and a half down the concrete mountain road to the starting point at Glančnik. You will also make some stops in the mine and listen to the most hidden stories of the underworld.
